Oliver Jones, Sales Negotiator here at Crabb Curtis Leamington has been entering into the spirit of “Movember” to raise awareness and money for men’s health issues.
Supported by his colleagues, Oliver undertook the challenge to change his face for the month of November to help change the face of men’s health forever.
For the month of November, the usually smooth shaven Jones sported a fetching Moustache or “Mo” and collected donations and sponsorship money for the charity.
Oliver said “The moustache has been a talking point with many of our vendors and applicants, it is important to me to increase awareness of these issues and Movember is a fun and different approach”.
To date Oliver has raised in excess of £300 which goes toward funding for a number of men’s health projects both in the UK & Globally.
Paul Averis, Sales Manager said: “We’ve had a very busy year and I’m pleased that Oliver has found the time to participate in this event alongside three million other mo-bro’s, aside from the money he has raised the “Mo” shows Oliver’s commitment to giving back to the community and his passion for raising awareness of men’s health issues such as cancer and mental health”.
The event concluded with a visit to ‘The Salon’ on Warwick Street in Leamington Spa on Monday where Oliver waved goodbye to his moustache (…until next year… ), in the hands of Owner and Artisitc Director Pardeep Bhachu who performed a Cut Throat Wet Shave on the “Mo”.
